The Piglet Shad may be compact in size, but there is thoughtful design throughout. With its two-piece PVC construction – where the belly is salted – the bait has a stable ride and always sinks belly down, which gives increased balance and control when reeling in.

The rounded paddle tail creates a subtle belly flash that imitates small prey in distress, perfect for teasing both perch and other predatory fish. With pre-cut slits in both the back and belly, you can easily rig it with a Texas rig, where a size 3/0 offset hook fits perfectly. Do you prefer jig heads? Then hook size 4/0 is recommended.
